7th Annual Best Practices Conference

The Seventh Annual Best Practices Conference on February 8, 2013 promises to be an inspiring event as educators across Oakland County share some of their effective learning practices with their colleagues county-wide.  Focusing on ‘Implementation of the Common Core’ programs and services currently being used in our districts will be presented.
We thank you and your team as you plan to learn with other peers in a day that celebrates our learning while helping all of us to continue to grow together to benefit our students. And a special thanks to our thirty-five presenters who gave freely of their time and energies to share with their fellow educators.
You may now view the 2013 keynote presentation, Beyond Compliance: Thinking and Preparing for the Next Generation of Learners, by Dr. Wil Parker, a national presenter and teaching clinician. Dr. Parker currently directs programs for the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards as a regional outreach director.

We encourage you to use the website as a resource for materials as many of our presenters have shared their presentation materials.
